Intelligent ecosystem

Horus by Fidumtec transforms physical spaces into connected environments

Video, IoT, automation, and human collaboration in one platform so cameras, sensors, actuators, and users operate in a coordinated way.

What Horus Is

Horus is Fidumtec's distributed orchestration platform. It integrates video, IoT, AI, automation, and human collaboration into one operating ecosystem so cameras, sensors, actuators, users, and communities interact in a coordinated and contextual way.

The platform combines mobile experience, cloud environment, edge capabilities, and field infrastructure so each user can view cameras, operate permissions, receive events, and coordinate actions from anywhere. Horus turns installed cameras, IoT sensors, operating rules, and intelligence over video into a common, manageable, and scalable service.

The goal is not to replace cameras or force one brand. Horus works with standards such as ONVIF to integrate heterogeneous devices into a single dashboard.

Each deployment represents an independent and autonomous environment, a Horus instance, where the devices, users, groups, permissions, rules, and scenarios of a specific installation are organized: a company, building, industry, store, educational institution, community, or critical infrastructure.

An ecosystem centered on people

In Horus, each instance belongs to an owner identified by their email address. That owner can manage multiple Horus environments and share them with other users through a flexible and secure permissions model.

The platform makes it possible to:

  • Add cameras and IoT devices.
  • Manage users and work groups.
  • Define specific permissions by device or functionality.
  • Automate actions and responses.
  • Coordinate notifications and intelligent scenarios.
  • Display information in personalized dashboards.

How it differs from manufacturer services

  • It is camera-brand agnostic.
  • It supports ONVIF-compatible cameras.
  • It can display cameras from different brands in one dashboard.
  • It organizes cameras from different owners under managed access rules.
  • It controls viewing windows defined by each camera administrator.

Horus Topology

Main layers

More than a monitoring platform

Horus is more than a video surveillance or IoT solution: it is a distributed orchestration platform that unifies physical infrastructure, automation, AI, and users within a modern, scalable, and collaborative operating model.

Its architecture can evolve from simple installations to complex ecosystems distributed across field, edge, ISP, and cloud while preserving a centralized and consistent experience for operation, governance, and scalability.

Solutions

One platform, multiple scopes

Horus organizes cameras, sensors, actuators, users, permissions, dashboards, automations, and AI-generated events within a single architecture.
